Sussex Research Attends Helping With Furniture Charity Gala

On Friday, April 26th, our team had a delightful evening commemorating the 16th anniversary of the Helping With Furniture Gala. This event celebrated the remarkable work of Helping With Furniture, a cherished local charity in Ottawa. They generously provide gently-used furniture, household goods, refurbished bicycles, and laptops to refugees, recent immigrants, people relocating from shelters, individuals leaving abusive situations, those struggling with mental illness, and those at risk of homelessness in our community.

The theme of the evening was "Sweet 16," adding a touch of festivity and nostalgia to the celebration. It was also a wonderful opportunity to mingle with other local charities and businesses that were in attendance, fostering connections and collaboration in a shared mission of making a positive impact in our city!
