Glycan Probes

Glycan-based probes are specialized molecular tools designed to investigate the selectivity of glycan binding proteins and the activity of carbohydrate active enzymes (CAZymes) including glycosidases and glycosyltransferases. These probes can be used to screen recombinantly expressed proteins or in cell-based assays.

Enzyme Inhibitors

Enzyme inhibitors are tools that can be used to inhibit the activity of CAZymes and study the biological effects of these enzymes.

Glycosidase Substrates

These fluorescent glycoconjugate-based tools can be used to investigate the substrate specificity of glycosidases.

Fluorescent Probes

Fluorescein (FITC) conjugated glycan probes can be used to investigate the binding of recombinant or cell surface expressed glycan binding proteins.

Polyacrylamide Probes

Glycan based polyacrylamide probes have glycan ligands covalently attached to a polymeric backbone. These multivalent probes can be used to investigate the specificity and binding affinity of glycan binding proteins.

Nucleotide Sugars

Nucleotide sugars are activated glycosyl donor substrates of glycosyltransferases. These substrates can be used in enzyme catalyzed reactions.
